Both programs will give you a commission when your referred visitor purchases AWeber service. The main difference is one is recurring the other pays more upfront but stops paying after 2-months.

The program that you enroll in at AWeber pays a lifetime recurring 30%. You will receive 30% of the monthly paid invoices the customer has with AWeber.

AWeber Affiliate Commission Rates and Rules
AWeber pays their affiliates well.

- OR large bounty
- 365 day cookie
- Great product
How Much Does AWeber Pay its Affiliates?
You have the option to get paid by either check or PayPal.
Payments are generated once per month, on the 1st of every month. And each payment is for commissions earned up until 15 days before the payment is made.
The minimum threshold payout is $30 for US affiliates, $50 for non US affiliates.
The customer can join for free at first so this is an easy sell if you are an affiliate. A good strategy is to lead with the free trial and get a lot of traffic to that offer. It is a shame they do not have a CPA payment for the free trials.
The nice thing about email marketing programs is that people don’t change them quickly. So the recurring payments do add up nicely.
Here is some pricing info. I am on the $69 per month one because I have over 5,000 subscribers on my list. So someone, I forget who now, has received $15-$20 for over 2 years now. Easily $300-$400.
The nice thing about AWeber is the straight-forward pricing. All plans include all features. Nice.
The 365 day cookie is nice. It is a last-touch type cookie so if they visit AWeber from a different affiliate link it gets reset. And if they clear there cookies it is lost.
But still 1-year is nice … remember Amazon and others are only 1-day!

Marketing AWeber As an Affiliate
Promoting AWeber is best done with a high-touch approach. Sending cold traffic to AWeber is likely not the best approach. Consider …
Email Marketing
Create an autoresponder sequence. Educate the receiver for the first few emails. Then close with an email offer. Follow that with an email free trial offer.
Content Marketing
This is what most affiliate swill do and it is effective. But only as effective as the quality of traffic you get from ASEO to your post. Find an AWeber or email marketing keyword that you can rank for. Don’t just write another general AWeber review post that lands on page 6 of Google’s search results — no one will see that.
Tutorials & Templates
Create some AWeber specific tutorials. Create some email templates and use them as lead magnets for an AWeber autoresponder sequence.
Case Studies
If you are using AWeber create a case study. Why you select them. Who else you considered. Do comparison article between AWeber and your other “finalists”. The fact that you use a tool is social proof … leverage that.
